You can take several images and using Collage FX Studio you can come up with a very good looking collage. Or you could take just one image and using Collage FX Studio’s editing functions you can turn said image into an impressive, artistic creation. Whichever you go for, you’ll find that the user friendly interface allows you to easily access all the features and functions Collage FX Studio has to offer.

You will have to go through a standard setup procedure to get Collage FX Studio up and running on your Windows-powered machine. This means you will first have to download an installer onto your PC – a 28.1 executable to be more precise. Then you’ll have to run it, and then you’ll have to click through the onscreen instructions presented by a setup wizard. The whole thing will take little of your time and a minimal amount of effort.

The panel located on the left hand side of the interface presents the images you imported into the application. Next to it there’s a section with tabs for the frames, shapes, masks, and other elements you can use. To the far right there’s another panel with a few more elements you can brush onto your creation. As you would imagine, your creation takes up the central part of the interface. It is the focal part – the elements you can use during the creation process are presented all around.

From a functionality point of view, Collage FX Studio has the following features to offer: arrange multiple images as you see fit; nice selection of frames, shapes, masks, and clipart elements that you can place anywhere you want; adjust the color levels; add custom text to your creation; crop photos; undo and redo; preview your creation; save your work as a JPG, JPEG, BMP, Gif, PNG, PCX, PNM, TIF, or TIFF file.

The trial version will put a watermark on the output. To get rid of this limitation you must purchase a Collage FX Studio license.

You can come up with an amazing collage thanks to the wonderful functionality Collage FX Studio puts at your disposal.

Pros

Little time and effort will be spent on getting Collage FX Studio up and running. The same can be said about getting accustomed to the intuitive interface. You can use Collage FX Studio to create stunning collages. You can use frames, shapes, masks, custom text, clipart items, and so on. There’s a handy preview function.

Cons

The trial will put a watermark on the output.
